There is an immense number of uses for website analytics. Can You Sustain the Effort for Guaranteed Online Success?

Do you have what it takes to make your online businesses thrive? Success won’t just be handed to you. You won’t find it in your lap with your kitty. There remains key elements and factors that you must have to guarantee your online success.

Persistence is the principle factor identified by the “get wealthy” gurus in ensuring your business succeeds. Napoleon Hill said it best, “Persistence is an essential factor in the procedure of transmuting desire into it monetary equivalent. The basis of persistence is the power of will.”

I almost don’t have to say anything else. Your will power defines your persistence. If you are weak, and easily swayed from one thing to the next, you most likely don’t have the persistence to make any life’s dreams a real vision you can achieve. If you cannot carry on, despite all opposition, then you are doomed.

What kind of opposition? Let’s start close to you. Are you married or have a long time relationship with someone? Do your closest friends call you nuts for striving to abundance? Most likely, you have problems convincing even your closest companion (spouse or significant other) that you will achieve your vision.

How about your friends? How many tell you that they think you have a great idea and if anyone can do it, it’s you? I am certain you cannot find 5 friends or family members that share your faith in your vision of success and abundance.

Is non-stop effort something you can do while marching toward completing your vision? Build a foundation of like-minded thinkers, and your strength and will power to achieve online success will multiply. Mastermind groups are the best place to go to find people who will encourage you with great ideas that build your confidence, will power, and persistence.

If you have no support from like-thinking individuals, your struggle will be massive. How long can you hold out with everyone telling you that you’re wasting your time? Most can’t for long. Visions of abundance are realized by only 3% of the population.

Persistence is mandatory, and your will power must be strong to back it up. Find the online success mastermind group that works best for you, and you will change the odds. You can be an online success, your foundation can give you the persistence.

Remember, you don’t succeed by luck or hand outs. The tools you possess will make your business a success.

Important Factors to Online Success is List Building

One of the most important factors to online success is list building. No matter what goals you’re pursuing with your online activities, building a good healthy contact list is vital for a successful outcome.

List building plays a major role in developing good relationships with your site’s customers, clients and visitors. It can be used to get more traffic, leads and sales for your site or business.

For these reasons contact building should be high on your list of priorities when you’re marketing or promoting on the web. Fortunately, list building is an easy process that any site or webmaster can quickly set-up as long as you understand two simple, yet well-proven principles of list building.

To be really successful, your list building must incorporate these two key elements. Without these two main ingredients you will probably find building your contact list difficult and slow going. So it is worth your while to fully understand and utilize these two factors in your list building.

Nonprofit Online Success: Tips for Achieving an Effective Web Presence

Any list should have these two key elements:

1. Value -

It should offer important information, quality content, special deals/discounts, and more importantly, it should offer a valuable relationship or connection to an expert in the subject area of the list.

Subscribers join a list for the benefits it will bring them, whether it is valuable content, special deals or a connection to an expert in their area of interest; your list must have value for the subscribers. They must benefit from joining your list.

If you’re building a list, just write down all the benefits someone would receive from joining your site or list.

- receive important information

- get special valuable content

- receive special deals/discounts

- get training videos/workshops

- get timely announcements or news

Make these benefits your main selling points when you’re building your list. Don’t forget there may also be a psychological reason for joining your list – many people like being part of a group or membership site. Its human nature, we all want to be emotionally involved with certain topics or causes, so don’t ignore this aspect when building your list. Everybody likes to feel included – lists can fulfill this emotional need.

Simply give your subscribers something of value and you will build your list quickly and easily.

2. Free

Whatever you offer – make sure it is Free. The quickest way to build any list is to give away free valuable content, information, videos, reports, e-books, discounts, prizes… everybody loves a free gift. Just make them an offer they can’t refuse.

Some marketers argue that giving away free items will attract the “wrong kind” of customer or subscriber – people that will never buy anything because they will expect it to be free. But this has more to do with the nature of your gift and the kind of contacts you’re building – giving away free buying guides on how to purchase real estate, fast cars, LCD TVs, laptops… will definitely attract the right “buying customer”. If you’re into selling, you just have to adjust your marketing to incorporate the free element correctly.

Besides, giving away something free is the first step in starting an ongoing relationship with your subscribers. It gets the ball rolling. It is one of the most effective ways to build your list quickly and easily. Just make sure you’re giving away something of value to the person receiving it and they will turn to you, time and time again, to find what they’re looking for on the web.

Building Your Way To Online Success-Part 1

As your alarm clock explodes into life each morning, and you reach out to pound it back into submission for another ten minutes, does the thought ever cross your mind that there could be a way to end this same tired, old routine?

Each day, as you make your way to and from your workplace, amidst the fumes, frustration, and financial drain that is the lot of a commuter, do you ever dream of being able to step out of your bedroom and straight into your workplace?

If you’re a Star Trek fan, you may be thinking, “Yes! Beam me up Scottie”–but if that was your first thought, then I’m afraid you may have to wait a little while longer. Transporter technology hasn’t quite been perfected yet. However, in spite of that slight delay in scientific progress, there is still a way to have the commute-free lifestyle you’ve been longing for. In fact, there are many people who have already turned that dream into a reality by successfully building their own home-based online businesses.

For the online business owner, there are no traffic jams, no co-workers breathing down their neck, and best of all, no BOSS! What more could anyone ask?

It sounds wonderful, and it certainly can be. However, achieving the type of success that will free you from the 9 to 5 rat race, does not just happen by itself.

The unfortunate fact is that most people will never reach this level of business success–not because they don’t have what it takes, but rather because they aren’t willing, or prepared, to take the time and effort needed to establish a proper business structure.

Nonprofit Online Success: Tips for Achieving an Effective Web Presence

Now, right from the start, I’ll quite honestly say that this guide does not come with any absolute promises or guarantees. When it comes to business, there is no such thing as a “sure thing.” However, it does contain solid, time-tested procedures and advice that are essential for anyone who wants to succeed in any form of business. The new business owner ignores these things at their own risk–and, sadly, many do.

One of the main problems, when starting a business, is that many people begin with unrealistic expectations and the wrong information. If you do an internet search about starting a home-based business, you will be flooded with sites that promise to reveal the secrets of success that will help you to get rich quick. With titles such as, “How I Made $100,000 in 3 Days,” they tempt the budding entrepreneur with offers that seem too good to be true–and they usually are. Although it may be possible for someone to make a lot of money in a relatively short space of time, the reality is that for the vast majority, it is completely unlikely. Creating any form of successful business takes time, preparation, commitment and hard work.

Although many people want to start their own online businesses, very few actually know how to go about doing it … but that doesn’t stop them. Armed with little more than a desire to make money, they rush in and begin something that they are completely unprepared and unsuited for.

A quick search on any topic will provide a plethora of sites providing relevant products or services for sale. If you take the time to visit these websites, you’ll quickly notice that most are quite unprofessional in appearance, and have little, if any, chance of success. Why? Quite simply because the new business owner has started things off on the wrong foot.

There really aren’t any special secrets to starting an online business, but there are some basic steps that will help you build your way to an online success.

Step 1: DECIDE WHAT YOUR BUSINESS IS GOING TO BE

At first glance, this initial stage of starting a business appears incredibly simple, if not completely obvious. Yet you may be surprised to discover how many people are involved in a business for which they have no experience or training. In fact, many have not even taken the time to research the field at all.

It makes good sense to choose a line of business for which you have some affinity. For example, if you have experience in designing and creating handcrafted items, a potential business opportunity would be that of an online store devoted to selling your crafts, and those of other artisans. Because you have a background in this particular field, you would have an immediate rapport with your target audience, and be able to understand what is important to them regarding your type of product. You would also be able to provide accurate and interesting articles that are relevant to your field of expertise. As a marketing tool, many a business has been enhanced by the introduction of an informative newsletter.

So, experience in your chosen field is definitely a big advantage. But there is one other thing that is vital–and that’s passion. There is no question that a person who is passionate about their business will have a far greater chance of seeing it become a success, than would someone who is ambivalent about their product or service. Believe me, I speak from experience.

Many years ago, my wife started cleaning homes as a way of earning another income, and she did very well.

A few years later, seeing the opportunity to make money, I decided to get involved in the cleaning business too, and I also did quite well. However, even though I was very happy to have my own business, I never truly enjoyed what I was doing. In fact, I have to admit that I dreaded the work. As a result of my lackluster attitude, I never took that business to the level that it could have reached if I had been at all passionate about it.

There is a lot of truth in the saying that “If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life.” So before rushing headlong into the first business opportunity that comes your way, make sure that you take the time to really consider what is the right business for you, based on your interests, experience, talents and passions. If making money is the only positive factor, then think again. Taking the time to get this first step right, will ensure that you have a rock-solid foundation upon which to build the online success of your dreams.

Shopping Cart Software and Online Success

Going online is a great chance of increasing your sales and spreading your customer base. Statistics show that online sales are steadily increasing and lots of merchants are going online.

The online selling alternative is really important as it allows reaching those customers that aren’t able to purchase certain products in the normal malls or stores.

Considering the fact that many people see looking for products and buying them online as a common activity, online merchants are very busy trying to make the shopping process the easiest possible.

Online success depends a lot on how your virtual shop is functioning. That’s why choosing the right shopping cart software will definitely help the growth of your online business.

Shopping cart software is a tool that allows a merchant to run his online business. When a person visits a virtual shop, just like in the case of a non-virtual one, he is provided by a shopping cart to help him buy whatever he wants to. Shopping cart software is an ordering system that allows customers to choose various products out of a list and place them in a virtual cart. You can then pay for all of them at the same time, just as in a normal shop.

Choosing the right shopping cart software can make the difference between succeeding and failing in online business. You need to find that perfect system that fits your website, allowing you to handle payment processing and giving your clients a smooth shopping environment.

Shopping cart software makes online shopping much easier. You can select more items simultaneously, it easily calculates the amount for you and the owner of the online shop can manage his clients much easier.

However, you should never forget one essential feature that shopping cart software must have – it has to be search engine friendly. It’s essential to have search engine friendly shopping cart software, as search engine’s spiders don’t care what type of e-commerce solution you have used for you website.

That’s really important, as almost everybody that wants to buy something online is using search engines to find online shops. If you are not listed on the first pages of major search engines’ you practically do not exist.

Search engine friendly shopping cart software encourages search engines’ spiders to crawl your website. Spiders will find much more information for the search engines to analyze and that will surely improve your rankings.

The conclusion is that your online success depends a lot on the shopping carts and content management software systems you choose.

Title Is Key To Online Success!!

Although webmasters have very different views on what is and what isnt when it comes to seo, in my humble opinon only the search engines themselves no what is. We have a full picture of what it takes to get to the top, but our information into whats most important is mixed up from webmaster to webmaster.

The truth of it is if every webmaster knew what it took to get there, we’d all be #1…..

So its always going to be trial and error, good individual guess work and seeing what works best for other related sites.

Search engines

Search engines are the bread and butter of all websites, so optimising your site is a must if you want online success, higher rankings brings more clicks. With that said being listed in search engines alone is not enough to ensure your business gets the attention it deserves.

Domain name

It’s very important for you to get your own domain name with the keywords you plan on using, as free domains are useless if you are serious about your online business. Getting free domains listed in directories is near impossible and cuts out a huge chunk from your online presence.

Keywords

Keywords is an important factor of seo as search engines use these to judge a sites relevance through textual content.

Images

If your website is image led, the best thing to do is add some text into your images, using ALT in your meta tag; for search engines to read.

Title and description

The most important meta tag to get right is the title and description because search engines use these to judge a sites relevance to a search query from a possible vistor. So your choice of keywords in your title and description is what should make you stand out from the crowd of hundreds of thousands of related websites. Although the description is as important as the title; the title is key to online success.

Link building

Inbound links to your website is crucial to your success online. As a beginner myself with 2 years in the field i thought it about time we outlined some basic information for the beginner in getting links pointing to your website.

Make sure all your pages links are not broken. Google and others see these links as a vote in your link popularity. Find a Google listed site to exchange links with so (youll get listed too; dont worry to much about page rank at this point. Exchange links with this listed site. Here are a few more to get you started, Linkexchange.com, Linkcritic.com, Freshlinks.com.

Ok so your pages links work and you have exchanged links with some listed sites. Now you need some one way links as they weight much more than the exchanged ones. This is because one way links look more natural. There are different ways of achieving this. Somebody likes your site so links to it; at this point highly unlikely. You can hunt for links using Google with keywords such as, Free links, add a link, link submission, link directory.

Submit your site to all the directories you can find, (free and paid) because you want to be listed in pr0 and pr7,8,9 and 10 if you find one:-) The higher ranking directories are most certenly paid for only, but well worth it if you pick the right one.

Bookmarks is another one way link option, register for free with sites such as del.icio.us. Have you got articles written by you that you think would of interest to others?. Another way of getting one way links is to write articles and submit them to article submission sites with rewrite rights so they can be used by other webmasters.

Try joining active forums related to your site, make sure you use the signature option with your posts; you can put your URL here. This might not get you lots of readers but it will double your chances of getting listed with search engines, Just make sure you offer these forums more than just a link to your own site, and stick to forum rules.

These are just a few things that can be done to increase your inbound links and get you listed with search engines and the best thing is; you didn’t submit to them either. The reason for this is, all it takes is a link on someones listed and popular site and you get listed too. Because active sites get spidered all the time, searching for new content.

This is just the start of a long road to number 1 though; of which you may never achieve.

List Building is Key to Online Success

List building is the ability to create an ever growing list of email addresses of people who are interested in whatever you have to offer online. It’s all about giving great value to your visitors and prospective customers in exchange for their email opt-in.

List building is really not that easy if you don’t have the right system in place, and generating website traffic can be quite a task especially when you’re just starting out online.

List building is one way to generate traffic to your website and it should be a major part of your internet marketing campaign because you have the opportunity to gain the trust of your target audience who has already taken a leap of faith to opt-in to your list.

List building is all about opt-in conversion rates and the value of each subscriber over the life of the relationship. It is one of those things that’s best started sooner rather than later.

There are many ways to build a list and it can be as simple or as complicated as you want to make it. List building plays a major role in developing good relationships with your customers, clients and visitors. It is one area where size really does matter because the bigger your list, the more sales are generated and the bigger your income.

List building is very important for every online business and a squeeze page is one of the best tools you can use to quickly convert visitors into subscribers. On your squeeze page a visitor must submit their information in order to gain access to your site. This is usually in exchange for a free gift such as an e-book.

Another approach would be to put an opt-in form on your site to build a simple subscriber list that allows you to send out a weekly or monthly newsletter to entice your subscribers back to your website to buy a recommended product. Another way to help build your list quickly would be to joint venture.

If you have your own product, forming joint ventures with well-established marketers is the fastest way to build your list. They may allow you to email to their list in exchange for a percentage of the profits or for a recommendation or a testimonial.

Social media sites, videos, blogs, forums and the new Internet are all excellent prospects for building your list. Let your subscribers build your list for you. Building a list is usually easy; however, building a responsive list that’s loyal is the real challenge.

Keep in mind that almost everyone is now using a list and your subscribers will probably be bombarded with hundreds of offers when a product launch is underway.
One way to help alleviate this problem is to build a separate list for each product you are offering.

There are numerous ways of building a list but every website should have a rudimentary subscriber or membership list just to build a sense of community and to keep track of repeat visitors. When subscribers from the basic list decide to opt-in they can be transferred to your more highly valued opt-in list.

The second list will be your more powerful list of clients with whom you have developed a stronger relationship of trust and who will be eager and happy to hear your offers. The subscribers on this list have learned to trust you and building trust online with your customers is the key to your online success.

List building is one of the more aggressive and powerful ways to make money online. It is the bread and butter for many Internet Marketers and as such should be treated accordingly.

The people on these lists provide your livelihood in many cases and excellent customer service goes a long way toward maintaining their trust and continued support. List building is one of the most important skills you will need to learn for internet marketing success and is something you simply cannot afford to ignore.
