Question by Adrian B: Would you like the Sweansea-Cork ferry to sail again?
…because if you would – please take a look at our website -
www.bringbacktheswanseacorkferry.com
We’ve been campaigning for a year now to get this vital service back again – and we’re so close to success that you’d hardly believe it.
In order to guarantee that the ship will sail again in April, we need people to pledge their investment (starting from €1,000) – and we need to collect the missing cash by Friday 5pm.
All the info you need, plus an online pledge system is on the website!
Thanks
Adrian – Campaign Co-organiser
In response to Orla C’s comments – it’s certainly not a scam – it’s a properly set-up cooperative administered by independent solicitors. The website explains it all.

I’d do it if I didn’t suspect it was a scam … and if I had the money, of course.

It is a class idea. Boats are way cooler than planes to travel. You get to walk around and look at the port when you come in.
It was a good service I travelled with them before.
But saying that it is a Recession and you will find it hard to get investments off people.
Good Luck and I hope it works out well.
Brilliant idea and i think people will give enough money. i’m down in cork and we’ve given 10000 euro and there has been a load of meetings down in west cork and a lot of people have given money including those not involved in tourism. It would be a brilliant boost for the economy as well.
